The best link-in-bio tools for creators, judged on what you keep

The link in your bio is the one piece of social real estate that can point at something you own. Pick the tool that hands you your list, your customers and your domain.

BY CARLOS GIL·PUBLISHED OCT 7, 2026·LAST UPDATED OCT 10, 2026EDITORIALLY REVIEWED

Editorially reviewed by Carlos Gil. Prices and fees checked against each vendor's pricing page and help center on October 7, 2026. No link-in-bio company on this page pays us. Later, Kit, beehiiv and MailerLite links are affiliate links; see our disclosure.

The short answer. If you sell digital products from your bio, the subscription price matters less than the fee on each sale. At 50 sales a month of a $29 product, a 9% to 12% platform fee costs you $130 to $174 a month, which is more than any flat-priced plan on this page. So: Beacons Creator Plus ($30/mo) or Stan Creator ($29/mo) if you sell; Linktree or Beacons free if you only link out; Carrd ($19 to $49 a year) if you want your own domain and an email form for almost nothing. Whatever you pick, connect it to an email platform you control on day one.

Your bio link is rented land pointing at more rented land, unless you make it point at something you own: your email list, your customer records, your domain. That's the lens for every pick below. We read each vendor's pricing page and help center for the same five things: fee on sales by plan, email capture and export, custom domain, analytics, and what you can take with you if you leave. Where a vendor's own pages disagree, we say so, because that happened more than once.

If you're still working out what to sell, start with our guide to monetizing your expertise beyond brand deals, then come back.

Payment processing is separate everywhere: Stripe's standard US rate of 2.9% + $0.30 per sale applies on top, and Beacons lists PayPal at 3.49% plus a fixed fee.

A note on Linktree's fees. Linktree's pricing page lists "Sell and earn with 0% fees" on the Pro card, while the comparison data on the same page shows 9% for Pro and 0% only for Premium. Its help center says paid digital products are "available on Pro and Premium plans," but the same comparison shows a 12% fee for Free and 9% for Starter. We use the comparison table figures below and recommend confirming at checkout.

Example: what 50 sales of a $29 product costs on each tool

Assumptions: one $29 digital product, 50 sales in a month ($1,450 gross), US seller, card payments through Stripe, monthly billing unless noted, no refunds, no taxes, no add-ons. Stripe's processing (2.9% + $0.30 per sale = $57.05 for these 50 sales) is the same on every tool that uses Stripe, so it's shown once here and left out of the table.

Tool and planMonthly subscriptionPlatform fee on $1,450Total platform costYou keep before Stripe
Linktree Free$012% = $174.00$174.00$1,276.00
Linktree Starter$89% = $130.50$138.50$1,311.50
Linktree Pro$159% = $130.50$145.50$1,304.50
Linktree Premium$350%$35.00$1,415.00
Beacons Free$09% = $130.50$130.50$1,319.50
Beacons Creator$109% = $130.50$140.50$1,309.50
Beacons Creator Plus$300%$30.00$1,420.00
Stan Creator$290%$29.00$1,421.00
Milkshake Free$012% = $174.00$174.00$1,276.00
Milkshake Pro$6.999% = $130.50$137.49$1,312.51
Milkshake Pro+$10.00 (billed quarterly at $29.99)7% = $101.50$111.50$1,338.50
Komi Pro$200%$20.00$1,430.00
Carrd Pro Plus$49/yr, about $4.08/monone documentedabout $4.08about $1,445.92

Annual billing lowers several of these: Linktree Premium drops to $30/mo, Beacons Creator Plus to $25/mo equivalent ($300/yr), Stan Creator to $25/mo equivalent ($300/yr), Komi Pro to $16/mo.

What this tells you: the break-even point comes early. Beacons Creator Plus beats Beacons Free once you sell more than about $333 a month ($30 ÷ 9%). Linktree Premium beats Linktree Pro once you sell more than about $222 a month (the $20 price gap ÷ 9%). If you expect even a handful of sales, a 0% plan is the cheaper plan. Carrd is cheapest on paper but you're assembling checkout and delivery yourself, so price your time too.

The picks

BESTCREATES SCORE 7.4 / 10 · $READ THE LINKTREE REVIEW →

Role: The default bio link, with the best native email-tool integrations of the big three.

Linktree's free plan gives you unlimited links, a contact form for email and phone sign-ups, and 28 days of analytics. Its help center says free and paid users can download form submissions as a CSV, and Pro and Premium sync sign-ups to Kit, beehiiv, Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Flodesk or Google Sheets. That's a better ownership story than the "Linktree is just links" reputation suggests. The weak spots are selling and branding. Fees on digital products run 12% on Free and 9% on Starter and Pro by the pricing page's own comparison data, with 0% only on Premium ($35/mo, or $30/mo billed annually). Linktree's help center also says it doesn't offer custom domains, so your page always lives at linktr.ee/yourname. It has added a free, auto-updating media kit, but it's US-only for now, and PDF download needs Pro or Premium. Pick it if you send traffic elsewhere. If selling is the point, run the fee math first. Read our full Linktree review. Official site: linktr.ee.

Beacons: best all-in-one for creators who sell and pitch brands

BESTCREATES SCORE 7.9 / 10 · $READ THE BEACONS REVIEW →

Role: The broadest free plan, and the cheapest route to 0% fees with a custom domain.

Beacons bundles a link-in-bio page, store, email marketing, an auto-updating media kit and AI brand-outreach tools (for the rest of the sponsorship workflow, see how to manage brand deals). Its help center lists a 9% transaction fee on Free and the $10/mo Creator plan, and 0% on Creator Plus ($30/mo or $300/yr) and Creator Max ($90/mo or $900/yr). Creator Plus also removes the Beacons logo and adds unlimited email sends, memberships and buy-now-pay-later. You can download your audience as a CSV on any plan. Automatic export to Mailchimp or Zapier is a paid feature, and there's no documented direct sync to Kit or beehiiv. Sales go straight to your connected Stripe or PayPal account. The ownership catch is domains: if you buy a domain through Beacons, its help center says the domain stays Beacons' property, and transferring it out costs a one-time $70. Connect a domain you already own instead. One more flag: the Beacons homepage says "No platform fees on the free plan" while the same page and the help center list 9%. Read our Beacons review. Official site: beacons.ai.

Stan: best for a simple sales funnel with no free plan to outgrow

BESTCREATES SCORE 7.7 / 10 · $READ THE STAN REVIEW →

Role: A checkout-first storefront at a flat price, with 0% platform fees on every plan.

Stan doesn't have a free plan. You get a 14-day trial, then Creator at $29/mo ($300/yr) or Creator Pro at $99/mo ($948/yr). Stan's help center says both plans include unlimited products, and its pricing article says Stan charges 0% transaction fees, leaving only Stripe or PayPal processing. Creator covers the storefront, bookings, courses, memberships, lead magnets and Instagram AutoDM. Email broadcasts and flows, discount codes, upsells, order bumps, payment plans and pixel tracking are Creator Pro features. Stan says that's because it pays for every email sent. On ownership, you can download customer data as a CSV, and Stan connects to Kit, Mailchimp, Flodesk, AWeber and others through Zapier rather than natively. There's no custom domain: Stan's help center says your store lives at stan.store/yourname, though you can forward your own domain to it. Pick Stan if you'll sell from week one. Skip it if you mainly need links, since $29/mo is a lot for a link list. See our Stan review and Kajabi vs Stan. Official site: stan.store.

Carrd: best for owning your domain on a tiny budget

BESTCREATES SCORE 7.8 / 10 · $READ THE CARRD REVIEW →

Role: A one-page website builder that doubles as a link-in-bio page on your own domain.

Carrd is the odd one out because it isn't a link-in-bio app. It's a cheap one-page site builder, and that's the point. Its free plan allows three sites with "Made with Carrd" branding. Pro Lite ($9/yr) removes branding. Pro Standard ($19/yr) adds custom domains with SSL, analytics integrations and signup forms that post straight to Kit, beehiiv, MailerLite, Mailchimp, Ghost, Buttondown and more than a dozen other email tools. Pro Plus ($49/yr) adds payment-enabled forms through Stripe Checkout using your own Stripe API keys. Carrd's docs don't mention any Carrd fee on those payments. The trade-off is effort. There's no built-in product delivery, customer dashboard or affiliate system, so for real product sales you'd pair it with Gumroad, Lemon Squeezy or a Stripe payment link. Carrd bills annually only. For the house thesis (your domain, your list, your processor account), Carrd scores best for the least money. Official site: carrd.co.

Milkshake: best mobile-first free page if you sell rarely

BESTCREATES SCORE 6.6 / 10 · $READ THE MILKSHAKE REVIEW →

Role: A phone-built mini-site with cheap paid tiers and a sliding sales fee.

Milkshake builds swipeable "cards" from your phone. The free plan includes unlimited links and cards, 30 days of analytics, and selling digital files through Stripe with the Sell Card (currently in beta, with item prices capped at $1 to $100 per Milkshake's help center). Lite ($2.99/mo) removes the Milkshake branding. Pro ($6.99/mo, or $59.99/yr) adds a contact form, a mailing list that syncs to Google Sheets or Mailchimp, a Meta pixel, SEO fields, 365 days of analytics with export, and lower selling fees. Pro+ ($99.99/yr, or $29.99 per quarter) adds a custom domain and Google Analytics. Milkshake's pricing FAQ puts the selling fee at 12% on Free and Lite, 9% on Pro and 7% on Pro+, plus Stripe processing. That makes it cheap to run and expensive to sell through. There's no direct Kit or beehiiv sync documented, so Sheets or Mailchimp become the bridge. Pick Milkshake if you want a nicer free page than Linktree and sell occasionally. Move off it once sales are regular, or the 7% to 12% fee will outrun the subscription you saved. Official site: milkshake.app.

Komi: worth a look for brand-deal-led creators

BESTCREATES SCORE 6.8 / 10 · $READ THE KOMI REVIEW →

Role: A mini-site with a brand-deal hub and a low-priced 0% plan.

Komi's free Starter plan includes a custom mini-site, unlimited content and affiliate links, "unlimited fan contacts," performance analytics and access to brand deals. Pro is $20/mo, or $16/mo billed annually (Komi advertises 20% off annual), and adds 0% fees on digital product sales, unlimited email campaigns, a Meta pixel, branding removal and a custom domain set up through Komi support. That's the cheapest 0% sales plan on this list with a custom domain included. The gaps are documentation gaps. Komi's pricing comparison lists digital products as Pro-only and doesn't state a fee on Starter, and its help center (support.komi.io) documents a CSV contact export but no payout process for digital products. Until payouts are documented, treat Komi as a shortlist candidate and ask support two questions before you commit: how do digital-product payouts work and through which processor, and what fee applies on Starter? Official site: komi.io.

BESTCREATES SCORE 7.7 / 10 · $$READ THE LATER REVIEW →

Role: A clickable copy of your feed, bundled with a social scheduler.

LaterAFFILIATE's Link in Bio turns your Instagram, TikTok or Snap grid into a page where each post links somewhere, plus buttons and a featured banner. Later promotes a free link-in-bio page, and Link in Bio is included on every paid Later plan. Starter is listed at $18.75/mo billed yearly. Later's page lists a Mailchimp integration for email capture, custom SEO fields, and click tracking inside Later's analytics. It doesn't sell digital products itself. It sends people to your shop, site or affiliate links. That makes it a good fit for creators who already plan posts in Later and want each post's link to stay findable. It's not a storefront. Read our Later review.

Planoly Creator Store (formerly Snipfeed)

BESTCREATES SCORE 7.2 / 10 · $READ THE PLANOLY REVIEW →

Role: Link-in-bio storefront bundled with Planoly's scheduler.

Snipfeed's domain now redirects to Planoly's Creator Store page, so treat Snipfeed as part of Planoly. Planoly's pricing page lists link in bio, selling digital products and merch, and Instagram DM automation on every paid plan from Starter at $14/mo billed annually ($16 billed monthly; Growth is $24 annually or $28 monthly, Professional $47 or $55). Its Creator Store page says there are "Zero Transaction Fees" and that you connect your own Stripe or PayPal account. It includes a customer list with automated emails, and Planoly's help center documents an Export option in the contact list and a custom-domain setup (it does not state which plan is required, and we did not see the export file format spelled out). Official site: planoly.com.

Role: Not a tool, but the thing to beat.

Instagram's help center says you can add up to five links to your profile under Edit profile, then Links. If you only need to point to a website, a newsletter and a YouTube channel, that may be all you need, with no third-party page and no extra tap. It captures no emails, shows you no click data by destination, and only works on Instagram. Use it as a free baseline: a link-in-bio tool has to earn its place with email capture, sales or analytics.

What about Koji and Shorby?

Koji is not a live option. On October 7, 2026, withkoji.com returned a "Domain Not Found" error instead of a site. Shorby's domain now redirects straight to its app login, and we couldn't verify current pricing from a public page, so it isn't ranked here.

What you own, and what you can take with you if you switch

This is where link-in-bio tools differ most, and where most roundups go quiet. Before you commit, check four things.

1. Your subscriber list. Every main pick lets you get emails out somehow. Linktree offers CSV export on all plans, plus native sync to KitAFFILIATE, beehiivAFFILIATE, Mailchimp, Klaviyo and Flodesk on Pro. Beacons offers a CSV download on all plans, with automatic Mailchimp or Zapier export on paid plans. Stan has a customer CSV and Zapier. Carrd's forms post directly into your email platform, so the list never lives in Carrd. The safest setup is the same everywhere: send every sign-up into an email platform you control (Kit, beehiiv or MailerLiteAFFILIATE) in real time. Don't treat a quarterly CSV as your backup plan. Our newsletter writers guide and BestSends cover the email side.

2. Your customers and payments. Linktree, Beacons, Stan, Milkshake and Carrd all pay out through a Stripe (or, for Beacons and Stan, PayPal) account connected to you. That matters: your payment history and your customer emails sit in your processor account, not only inside the bio tool. Linktree's help center says you are the seller of record and responsible for refunds and tax. Keep your Stripe login and records current.

3. Your URL. Linktree and Stan don't offer custom domains, so every printed QR code, podcast mention and old post points at their domain. If you leave, those links break or point at a dead page. Beacons, Milkshake (Pro+), Komi (Pro) and Carrd (Pro Standard) let you connect your own domain. Our rule: buy your domain from a registrar in your own name, then point it at whichever tool you use. Beacons' help center says domains bought through Beacons remain Beacons' property and cost $70 to transfer out.

4. Your products and content. No tool here documents a one-click export of your whole store to another platform. Keep master copies of your files, course videos and product copy in your own storage, so moving means re-uploading, not rebuilding.

Budget tiers

  • $0: Instagram's five links, or Linktree Free or Beacons Free with a contact form. Export your list monthly, or send sign-ups straight to a free email plan. Don't sell through a 9% to 12% fee tier for long.
  • Under $5 a month: Carrd Pro Standard ($19/yr) on your own domain, with a signup form posting to your email platform. Add Pro Plus ($49/yr) for Stripe payment forms.
  • $15 to $35 a month: Beacons Creator Plus ($30), Stan Creator ($29), Komi Pro ($20) or Linktree Premium ($35) if you sell. All are 0% platform fee on the plans named.
  • $99 a month: Stan Creator Pro if you want email, upsells, order bumps and payment plans inside one tool. Compare it with a separate email platform plus a cheaper storefront before you pay for the bundle.
  1. Buy your domain first, from a registrar, in your name. Even if your tool doesn't support custom domains, you can forward it, and you keep the URL if you switch.
  2. Pick the tool by job. Mostly links: Linktree Free, Beacons Free, or Instagram's own links. Selling from day one: a 0% plan (Stan Creator, Beacons Creator Plus, Komi Pro, Linktree Premium). Budget and control: Carrd.
  3. Connect email before you publish. Use a native integration or Zapier so every sign-up lands in your own email platform. Test it with your own address.
  4. Connect Stripe (or PayPal) in your own name, and confirm payout timing in that account.
  5. Put one primary action at the top: your lead magnet or best product. Everything else goes below it.
  6. Check fees against your real numbers every quarter, using the example table above. Upgrade when the fee you're paying passes the price of the 0% plan.
  7. Export once a month anyway. Download your subscribers and customers to your own storage, even with a live sync running.
COMMON QUESTIONS
What is the cheapest link-in-bio tool with no fee on sales?

On published pricing, Carrd Pro Plus ($49/yr) has no documented Carrd fee, but you set up checkout and delivery yourself. Among storefront tools, Komi Pro ($16/mo billed annually, $20 monthly) and Stan Creator ($29/mo, or $300/yr) are the lowest-priced 0% options. Beacons Creator Plus ($30/mo) is close behind. Stripe processing still applies on all of them.

Does Linktree take a cut of sales?

Yes, below Premium. Linktree's pricing-page comparison shows 12% on Free, 9% on Starter and Pro, and 0% on Premium for digital products and courses, plus Stripe processing. The Pro plan card on the same page says "0% fees," so confirm before you choose Pro to save on fees.

Can I use my own domain with Linktree or Stan?

No. Both say in their help centers that they don't support custom domains, though you can forward your own domain to your page. Beacons, Milkshake Pro+, Komi Pro and Carrd Pro Standard support custom domains.

Can I export my email list from these tools?

Linktree, Beacons and Stan all document a CSV download. Linktree also syncs to Kit, beehiiv, Mailchimp, Klaviyo and Flodesk on Pro and Premium. Beacons auto-exports to Mailchimp or Zapier on paid plans. Stan uses Zapier. Carrd's forms send sign-ups directly to your email platform.

Do I still need a link-in-bio tool now that Instagram allows five links?

Only if you need email capture, sales, click analytics, or one page that works across TikTok, YouTube and Instagram. If you need none of those, Instagram's five links are free and remove a tap.

Is Koji still around?

No live service that we could find. On October 7, 2026, withkoji.com returned a "Domain Not Found" error.

What happened to Snipfeed?

Snipfeed.co now redirects to Planoly's Creator Store page, and Planoly sells link-in-bio and digital products inside its scheduling plans.

Which is better for brand deals, Linktree or Beacons?

Both now offer auto-updating media kits. Beacons' is part of every plan and sits alongside brand-outreach and invoicing tools. Linktree's is free but US-only for now, with PDF download on Pro and Premium. If brand deals are your main income, Beacons has more of the workflow in one place.
