Planoly is a social media scheduler first. Its link-in-bio storefront, Creator Store (the product formerly called Snipfeed), comes included in every paid plan with no cut of your sales. That's the real reason to look at it: from $14 a month you get a visual planner for eight networks and a 0% store in one bill.
What it does well
One subscription, two jobs. Planoly's help center says Creator Store is included with every core plan, with no separate subscription and no cut of your sales. Your payment processor's fee still applies. You connect your own Stripe or PayPal account, and Planoly says Stripe payouts typically take 5 to 7 business days and PayPal up to 14.
The planner covers the networks creators use. Paid plans include direct linking for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Threads and Pinterest. X is reminder-only, so you finish those posts in the X app. Planoly's grid preview, media library, AI caption writer, Canva access, analytics and Best Time to Post come with every paid plan.
The store sells more than files. Creator Store handles digital products, courses, 1:1 consultations, Q&As, livestreams, memberships, tips, invoices and print-on-demand merch through Printful, plus a Shopify integration.
Your customer list isn't locked in. The CRM lists every buyer with purchase history, and Planoly's help center shows an Export option in the customer list toolbar. You can import contacts by CSV, and a Zapier connection pushes purchases and sign-ups to Mailchimp, Kit (Planoly still calls it ConvertKit), Google Sheets and other apps. Custom domains are documented too.
Where it falls short
Monthly prices are higher than the headline. The pricing page opens on annual billing. Billed monthly, Starter is $16, Growth $28 and Professional $55, per Planoly's help center.
The free plan barely counts. It's 10 posts a month for one workspace and one user, and it excludes analytics, the media library and the AI tools. Planoly's own pages disagree on the details: the pricing page calls it app-only with 10 uploads a month, while the help center describes a 10-post limit that applies however you create posts.
DM automation is moving. Planoly says Instagram DM automation inside Creator Store is being deprecated in favor of automations in the planner.
Creator Store setup is desktop-only. Planoly's help center says you link a store by logging in on a computer.
Pricing in practice
All prices USD, from Planoly's pricing page and its "Choose a paid plan" help article:
- Free: $0. 10 posts a month, 1 workspace, 1 user.
- Starter: $16/mo billed monthly, or $14/mo billed annually. 1 social set, 1 user, unlimited posts, Creator Store. No add-ons.
- Growth: $28/mo billed monthly, or $24/mo billed annually. 2 social sets, 2 users. Extra sets $10/mo, extra users $5/mo.
- Professional (listed as "Pro" on the pricing page): $55/mo billed monthly, or $47/mo billed annually. 6 social sets, 6 users. Extra sets $8/mo, extra users $3/mo.
Every paid plan has a 14-day free trial. A social set is one account per network.
Example. Assumptions: Starter billed annually, 40 sales a month of a $19 template ($760 gross), processor fees left out. Planoly costs $14 a month and takes nothing from the sales. On a link-in-bio plan with a 9% fee, the same sales would cost $68.40 a month in fees before any subscription.
Who should pick it (and who shouldn't)
Pick Planoly if you plan Instagram-heavy content visually and want a 0% storefront without paying for a second tool.
Skip it if X is a main channel, if you only need a store, or if you want deep cross-network analytics. Planoly is a solo creator's planner first.
Alternatives worth comparing
- Later: a scheduler with Link in Bio included, but no native digital-product sales. Try it via LaterAFFILIATE.
- Buffer: a simpler, cheaper scheduler with no store. See Typefully vs Buffer and Buffer alternatives.
- Stan or Beacons: if the store matters more than the scheduler.
- Metricool: stronger on analytics across networks.
