The pitch is absurd: edit audio by editing a transcript. You delete a word, the audio goes with it. You rearrange a sentence, the file rearranges. Once it clicks, going back to a waveform feels like switching from a keyboard to a chisel.
Studio Sound is the other thing nobody shuts up about, and for once the hype is earned. Bad room, hum from your fridge, the dog — it eats most of it. Not all of it. Don't mic yourself badly and expect a miracle. But it gets you 80% of the way to a clean track without learning iZotope.
The video side is competent but not its strongest leg. Use it for talking-head and short clips. For real edits, you still want a real NLE.
