Vizard is a web app that turns long videos into short, captioned, vertical clips and posts them for you. Its pitch is simple arithmetic. Creator costs $29 a month, or $14.50 a month billed annually, and includes 600 upload minutes. Opus Clip Pro costs the same and includes 300. If upload minutes are what you run out of, Vizard is the cheaper clipper per minute. The open question is its legal paperwork, which you should settle before you upload anyone else's footage.
What it does well
More minutes for the money. One credit covers one minute of uploaded video, and Vizard's help center says you're charged once per project, even if you both clip and transcribe it. Creator starts at 600 credits a month, and the pricing page offers larger credit tiers on the same plan.
Export quality and length. Paid plans upload and export in 4K, accept files up to 30 GB and 600 minutes long, and have no watermark, according to the comparison table on Vizard's pricing page.
Languages. Vizard's help center lists transcription in 40 languages and subtitle translation into 128.
Publishing. You can connect TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, Instagram and Facebook Pages, with 6 accounts on Creator and 20 on Business, and schedule posts. Exports can also be saved to Google Drive.
API included. Vizard's API docs say API access is included on Creator and Business. Uploads through the API use the same minutes, and the API returns a 0 to 10 virality score with each clip (in clipping mode). Treat that score as a vendor estimate, not a prediction.
Where it falls short
The paperwork conflicts. Vizard's terms of service (last updated October 31, 2022) say the service may use machine learning "in the course of processing" user content and that nothing stops Vizard from using it to improve its models. A help-center article says Vizard has never used customer data to train its models and doesn't plan to. Ask Vizard in writing which one governs before you upload client footage.
Credits expire. On monthly plans, each month's credits are valid for 60 days. On annual plans they last 13 months.
The free plan is a trial: 60 credits, 720p export, a watermark, projects that expire after three days, and TikTok as the only social account you can connect.
We found no documented export to Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve. Opus Clip does document one.
Pricing in practice
Prices are in USD from Vizard's pricing page. Free costs $0 for 60 credits. Creator costs $29 a month, or $14.50 a month as $174 billed yearly. Business costs $39 a month, or $19.50 a month as $234 billed yearly, and adds a shared workspace, a brand kit and team seats at $5 per seat per month on the yearly plan.
Example: four one-hour podcast episodes a month. Assumptions: Creator on annual billing, one upload per episode, no re-uploads. That uses 240 of 600 credits, leaving 360 spare, at $174 a year. On monthly billing the cost is $29 a month, and any unused credits expire after 60 days.
Who should pick it (and who shouldn't)
Pick Vizard if you clip long conversations every week, want 4K output and LinkedIn or X publishing, and care more about minutes than extras.
Skip it if you finish clips in Premiere or DaVinci, need Pinterest, Threads or Bluesky publishing, or can't accept unclear AI-training terms for client work.
Alternatives worth comparing
- Opus Clip: the same price for half the minutes, with XML export to editors and more publishing targets. See Opus Clip alternatives.
- Klap (new): a simpler clip-count plan from $14 a month billed yearly.
- Riverside: Magic Clips are included if you already record there.
