The CMS feature turned a blog section into something we could hand off to a non-technical client to update, which used to require either a lightweight headless CMS integration or just training someone in a totally separate tool.
Animation and interaction design inside Framer is also genuinely fun to work with — scroll-triggered effects and page transitions that would take a developer real time to hand-code are drag-and-drop here, though we did notice some jank on animation-heavy pages on older mobile devices.
The tradeoff shows up in complex logic and at scale: anything beyond a marketing site or portfolio — real application logic, complex data relationships — outgrows what Framer is built for, and pricing climbs as traffic and CMS collection sizes grow past the starter tiers.
